Membership Policy

Effective in January 2020, AAMHL will not require a membership fee to become part of our organization.   However, if you love the work we do, please consider donating regularly to the two fundraisers we hold each year.   The Walk4Hearing fundraiser which takes place at different times and locations during the year, provides funding for our new scholarship fund where we will  cover the registration and travel cost of at least one adult musician who otherwise would not be able to attend the HLAA convention.  The GivingTuesday fundraiser helps to fund the concerts and meetups we have each year.

Your donations are tax-deductible in the United States because we are approved by the IRS as a 501c3 nonprofit.

We will provide ample notification before each fundraiser kicks off.  Please let us know if you plan to field a team to raise funds for AAMHL at your local Walk4Hearing event.

For regular donations on social media, we have a Facebook public page with a donation button – you can donate there.   We can also accept Paypal donations via Paypal’s Giving Fund if you are not into social media.

As a result of this change in policy, our virtual conference archives are now available for public viewing.
